The Kutai EA480 is a half-wave phase-controlled thyristor type Automatic Voltage Regulator (AVR) designed specifically for Stamford brushless generators. It serves as a premium direct replacement for the Stamford AS480.
The EA480 is uniquely engineered to interface with the Excitation Boost System (EBS) or Permanent Magnet Generator (PMG) systems. This allows the generator to maintain high levels of motor-starting capability and provides superior isolation from load-induced distortions. With its compact footprint and advanced digital protection, the EA480 ensures stable power for modern sensitive electronic loads.
