Return & Refund Policy

partsofgenerator.com sells replacement generator parts to business and individual customers worldwide. This policy explains how returns, exchanges, and refunds work.

1. Return window

You may request a return within 30 days of delivery for most unused items in original packaging. Custom-built, cut-to-length, or specially sourced items may not be returnable unless defective or shipped in error.

2. How to start a return (RMA)

  1. Email info@partsofgenerator.com with your order number, part number/model, reason for return, and photos if the item is damaged or incorrect.
  2. We will issue an RMA number and return instructions within 2 business days.
  3. Write the RMA number on the outside of the package. Returns without an RMA may be refused or delayed.

3. Return shipping

Unless the return is due to our error or a confirmed defect, the customer is responsible for return shipping costs and import duties on international returns. We recommend trackable shipping and adequate packaging for electrical and mechanical parts.

4. Refunds

After we receive and inspect the returned item, approved refunds are issued to the original payment method within 5–10 business days. Shipping charges are non-refundable unless we shipped the wrong item or a defective unit.

5. Non-returnable items

  • Items marked non-returnable at purchase
  • Installed, used, or modified parts unless defective
  • Clearance or final-sale items

6. Exchanges

If you need a different variant (for example genuine OEM vs aftermarket), contact us before shipping anything back. We will confirm compatibility and availability.

7. Return address
